Lily-of-the-Nile

Huge round clusters of deep purple bloom flowers top tall green stems (up to 36") above strap-shaded foliage in late summer. In warmer zones foliage may be evergreen, but elsewhere it will go dormant. 

Prefers full sun and consistently moist soil. May be overwintered in shelter in colder zones.
