Blue Star

Grande' is a selection of Blue Star that has robust growth and much larger than usual light blue flowers. Like other Blue Star its foliage turns a lovely golden yellow in fall. It is deer, rabbit, insect and slug resistant. Good for pollinators. Native cultivar.

Prefers full sun to shade, although plants may flop in heavy shade. Tolerates moist sandy soil to heavy clay. May be pruned back after blooming to reduce height.
