Thick, rounded, slightly scalloped, quarter-sized, light green leaves on reddish stems form cute rosettes. Leaves typically have fine red hairs. 12” sprays of unusual white blooms in early summer. Individual blooms have two larger white petals extending downward and three tiny petals extending upward. They may be spotted with pink or red. Plants spread via fine runners, similar to strawberry plants. Makes a nice groundcover in shady areas of the garden.
Best in light to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
