Salvia greggii 'Red Swing'
Bright red blooms are produced on semi-woody plants with aromatic foliage from spring to hard frost. Black stems and calyces create a stunning contrast to the blooms.
Prefers full sun and moist, well drained soil, but is drought tolerant once established. Do not cut back in fall. Semi woody stems may be trimmed back hard once new growth appears in spring. A southwestern US native cultivar.
