Seashore Mallow

Well-branched plants have hairy stems and leaves. Red stems carry soft pink, 2"-3" blooms, each with a long central column of yellow stamens, similar to hibiscus. Native.

Prefers sun and moist to wet soil, but tolerates average soil & brackish and standing water. Tolerates short periods of drought once established.
