High bud count means a long bloom season. Plants prefer full sun to light shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soils, but they will tolerate both drier and wetter soils. Tolerant of coastal conditions and clay soil. Individual blooms last for a single day, but lots of buds keep them blooming for an extended period.
