Hosta 'Independence'

Plantain Lily

Dark green leaves with broad irregular white margins that are speckled with green flecks. Sport of 'Revolution'. Pale lavender flowers in July. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Can be grown under black walnut trees. Plant Patented.

Hostas will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided with ample moisture and organic matter. Can tolerate clay soil.
