Welcome to Sandy's Plants' website! We grow container perennials, herbs, STEPABLES®, groundcovers and ornamental grasses. Located in Mechanicsville, Virginia, we supply plants to garden centers, landscapers, and to retail customers. We take particular pride in our huge plant selection, which includes many rare and unusual varieties. The majority of these plants are grown outside, year around so they are always ready for planting.

We especially enjoy growing the more "Rare and Unusual" perennials, as you will find when you browse the over 2200 varieties in our catalog. But don't feel overwhelmed - while we give you plenty of choices to help you find plants you'll be happy with, we also give you tools to help find them!

We are located just outside Richmond, Va, within a few miles of I-95 and I-64, and thus, perfectly situated to get your wholesale order delivered to you quickly. We regularly ship within a 100-125 mile radius of our nursery. Check out the Wholesale section of the website for more information on ordering and deliveries. You can also go there to register for wholesale access. The Retail Information page has some great information on perennials. Though most of our plants are sold wholesale to landscapers and Independent Garden Centers, we are open to the public for retail sales. You can visit the Retail section of our site for hours, directions and more information. We only sell retail on-site. We do not currently sell plants over the internet and do not ship plants by mail.
