Thalictrum aquilegifolium Black Stockings

Large lavender-pink flower clusters sit upon delicate nearly-black stems from July to August. Lacy green foliage. A showy plant for the back of the border. Grows best in moist, organic soil and is even tolerant of wet soil. Attractive to butterflies.

Prefers partial to light shade, but will tolerate sun if given sufficient moisture.
