Dense panicles of tiny, bright golden yellow blooms flower on the ends of stiff stems in late summer. Compact plants have dark green, serrated, heart-shaped leaves and form a nice groundcover.
Tolerates average to poor soils and dry or wet sites in sun to partial shade. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant. Long blooming native cultivar.
Flowers are insect pollinated and do not cause hay fever. Remove spent flower heads to prevent seeding.
