Succulant, deep green spatulatel eaves form attractive rosettes. Yellow blooms age to orange. Foliage turns orange in fall. Deciduous spreading type. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant.
Prefers full sun to light shade. Easy to grow in well-drained, average soil. Drought tolerant plants, they are particularly adapted for use in rock gardens or in borders. Also tolerant of coastal conditions.
