Silvery-gray to blue carpet-like foliage creates very low, evergreen mats. Foliage becomes purple tinted in cold weather. The pink to white flowers are attractive to butterflies. Easy to grow in sunny areas with well-drained, average soil.
Drought tolerant plants, they are great for use in rock gardens or in borders. Also tolerant of coastal conditions. Deer resistant.
