Lysimachia atropurpurea Beaujolais

Gray-green basal rosettes give rise to spikes of dark purple-red flowers from late spring through summer.  Very unusual! Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Occasionally self sows. Prerfers moist to wet soil, but will tolerate less.
