Iris (Japanese) ensata Dinner Plate Jello

Japanese Iris

Stunning color with a lemon-yellow center spreading outward into shades of creamy white and purple. Produces brightest color when given partial shade. Narrow, sword-like foliage with prominent midribs.

Tolerant of excessive moisture including standing water, except during winter. They can tolerate clay soils but prefer humus rich, acidic, soil. Attractive to butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
