A small-medium size hosta, 'Firn Line' has thick, heart-shaped, blue-green leaves that emerge with wide yellow margins that mature creamy white. A sport of 'First Frost' its substantial leaves are slug resistant. Lavender blooms in July/August.
Hosta will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided with ample moisture and organic matter. Can tolerate clay soil.
