5" blooms are orchid purple with large creamy yellow centers and lighter orchid halos. The wonderful large, fragrant blooms are ruffled and open wide. Semi-evergreen. Tetraploid. Mid-season.
Tolerant of coastal conditions and clay soil. Remove dead/yellow leaves and spent bloom stalks to keep plants tidy and to encourage additional blooms. Remove all dead foliage in late fall. Divide every 3 years.
