Low growing mounds of small, shield-shaped green leaves are topped with 1.5" deep violet blue, to purple, starry cup-shaped blooms in late spring and summer. Good for the border's edge or rock gardens.
Prefer partial sun to mostly shade and moist, well-drained organic rich soil. Deer resistant and attractive to bees and hummingbirds.
