The trumpet-shaped flowers bring a brilliant pop of coral from summer to fall, attracting hummingbirds. Shrub-like form with lanceolate leaves. Must have well-draining soil, especially in winter. Native to Texas.

Thrives in full sun and average to dry soils. Do not overwater. Can reach 5' when happy, but usually no taller than 3'. Responds well to shearing back.
