Large, non-drooping dark pink petals tinged with red surround deep orange cones. 1998 PPA Plant of the Year. Deadhead to promote long blooming. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.

Prefers full sun and average to poor and moist to wet, well-drained soil. Plants tolerate poor soil, heat, and clay soil.
