Turtlehead

Deep rose, hooded, snapdragon-like flowers appear in tight terminal racemes over coarsely-toothed, lance-shaped dark green foliage. A stiffly erect, clump-forming native that typically occurs in moist woods, swampy areas and along streams. Excellent Rain Garden plant.

Prefers sun to part shade with moist to wet, even boggy soil.  Weill adapt to drier soil
