Chelone lyonii 'Hot Lips'

Turtlehead

Showy spikes of 2" hooded deep pink flowers on reddish stems. Foliage has a bronze tint in the spring that matures to crisp, dark green foliage. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

Prefers partial to full sun. Grows best in moist, even boggy soil, but will tolerate less. Plants grown in more sun require wetter soils.
