5" blooms of yellow with green throats that spread onto the petals. Blooms open wide with reflexed petals so that flowers appear mostly yellow green. Attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds. Award winner. Nocturnal. Early. Rebloomer.

Prefers full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Tolerant of coastal conditions, clay soil. Remove old foliage as it yellows and also spent bloom stalks. Divide every 3 years.
