This handsome fellow has purple standards and violet black falls with huge deep orange beards. Fragrant. Award Winner. Early midseason. Heavy bloomer. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers full sun.

Must have well-drained soil, rhizome should be planted slightly above soil level. Remove old bloom stalks for better appearance. Drought tolerant once established. Divide every 3 years.
