Helleborus hybrid 'Anna's Red'

Lenten Rose

Gorgeous new foliage emerges bronze-green with pink veining and becomes green with creamy marbling as it matures. Numerous dark purple buds on red stems open to deep purple-red blooms in late winter. This special variety is a cross of several species that give it vigor and outstanding appearance.

Prefers light shade and moist well-drained soil. Evergreen, but shabby leaves may be cut back as needed.
