Single, deep crimson blooms have large centers of gold edged, pink to red staminodes. Sturdy stems, glossy dark green foliage. Early seaseon foliage is a beautiful burgundy color. Midseason. Attractive to butterflies.

Blooms best in full sun or with a little afternoon shade. Prefers a deep, well-drained, fertile, slightly alkaline soil. Remove old foliage in fall to prevent disease.
