A dwarf form of the species with a compact, rounded form bearing clusters of lavender to violet flowers on airy stems. Can tolerate clay soil. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Tolerant of coastal conditions, heat and drought.

Prefers full sun to light shade and average to moist, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
