Hardy Hibiscus

This moisture-loving native that has showy crimson-eyed, pale pink or white blooms similar to H. moscheutos but more trumpet-shaped. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

Prefers sun to light shade and moist, acidic soils. Although it is happiest in wet soils, it will tolerate ordinary garden soil. Tolerant of clay soil.
