Teucrium chamaedrys

Germander

Small, scalloped, glossy dark green, evergreen foliage with purple-rose flower spikes.  Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant.

Happy in full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. Prefers neutral to alkaline conditions, but will tolerate most. Handles drought and coastal conditions. Plants spread via underground rhizomes. Plants can easily be pruned for use as an edging.
