Native woodland plant with deep yellow buttercup-like flowers. Deeply cut, hairy, blue green leaves. Excellent for shade gardens. Long blooming. Will reseed and naturalize. Deer resistant.

Prefers parial to full shade and moist, humus-rich soil. Drought tolerant, once established, but foliage will dry up if soil is too dry.
