Attractive rounded, glaucous blue-green, succulent leaves. Clusters of pink flowers in October. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant. Deciduous.

Prefers sun but is tolerant of some shade. Happy in well-drained, average soil. They are drought tolerant and well adapted for use in rock gardens or in borders. Also tolerant of coastal conditions.
