Sedum x 'Purple Emperor'

Stonecrop

Dark purple-red, succulent foliage sports dusty red flowers in summer. Does not flop and is reputed to be an improved form of  Sedum 'Matrona'.

Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Drought tolerant plants, they are particularly adapted for use in rock gardens or in borders. Also tolerant of coastal conditions.  Attractive to butterflies.
