Santolina incana (chamaecyparissus) 'Nana'
Silvery-gray, fragrant foliage and a compact, globe-like growth habit characterize this semi-woody evergreen. Yellow button flowers 1/2" across bloom in early summer.
Plants should be pruned after blooming and pinched frequently to maintain their shape. Demands well-drained soil. Tolerant of drought and coastal conditions. Wet soil is fatal. Attractive to butterflies. Deer resistant. Great for edging gardens or pathways.
