Salvia guarantica 'Black and Blue'

Anise Sage

Beautiful 12" long spikes of intense deep blue, tubular flowers emerge from black calyxes from midsummer to frost. Scented leaves are bright green with a fuzzy texture.

Prefers full sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Plants are somewhat tender and may require protection in colder areas.
