Tall plants have loose clusters of yellow flowers with green cones over large, deep green glossy leaves. Attracts butterflies, pollinators and songbirds. Native.

Prefers sun and moist, well drained soils, but is tolerant of most. Cut back by half in June to reduce need for staking. Cut back after bloom for rebloom.
