Iris (LA) louisiana 'Black Gamecock'

Louisiana Iris

Large deep purple, almost black, blooms are marked by bright yellow signals. Wide, sword-shaped green foliage lasts well into winter.

Best in full sun, tolerates light shade. This moisture lover will thrive in bogs, but is also happy in moist garden soil. Do not allow to dry out! Performs well in hot climates, but also in cooler areas.
