Long, upright arching stems of green ovate leaves have wide yellow margins. In mid-late summer purple-red spotted, creamy, triangular, orchid-like blooms appear at the stem apex. Prefers partial shade and consistently moist soil for best appearance.
Prefer medium to wet, humus-rich, well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. Long blooming. Deer resistant. Good container plant.
