Blephilia ciliata

Downy Wood Mint

Upright, clumping foliage with dense, lavender-pink flower clusters in early summer. The flowers are reminiscent of Agastache, and very popular with pollinators. It's less aggressive and less aromatic than many other mints.

Blephilia ciliata is native to most of Eastern North America and parts of the Central U.S. It is difficult to transplant because of its tap root.
