A white form of native Chelone obliqua, it is nice planted with the pink or red forms. White, hooded snapdragon-like flowers appear in tight terminal racemes over coarsely-toothed, lance-shaped dark green foliage.
Prefers partial to full sun. Grows best in moist, even boggy soil, but will tolerate less. Plants grown in more sun require wetter soils.
