Upright plant bearing clusters of lavender to violet flowers on airy stems. Nice "see through" plant. Can tolerate clay soil. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Tolerant of coastal conditions, heat and drought. Plants may be short-live, but freely self-sows.
