The pale lavender bloom, whichs are heavily speckled with purple, appear at each leaf axil in late summer. Arching stems of hairy, light green leaves may reach up to 3' tall. Great plant for the woodland garden.
Prefers moist, well-drained soil and light to full shade, including heavy shade. Drought tolerant once established. Rhizomatous plants slowly colonize over time.
