Compact (60"-96"), vigorous, climbing  plants have dark red, single, semi-double and double blooms with slightly ruffled petals. Great for fences. obelisks or arches as well as patio containers.

Pruning group 3 - Prune back hard in early spring.  Clematis enjoy a sunny location with well-drained alkaline soil where their roots are kept cool by shade or mulch. Can be grown under black walnut trees.
