Hosta 'Island Breeze'

Plantain Lily

Elegant, narrow heart-shaped leaves are bright chartreuse yellow with wide, dark green margins. Leaves have good substance. Dark lavender blooms on red petioles in July. Plants have a strong growth rate. Plant patent applied for.

Prefers partial to full shade and moist, well drained soil. Hostas prefer shade, will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided with ample moisture and organic matter. Can tolerate clay soil.
