Green foliage with creamy-yellow centers. Fragrant, soft pink to ivory flowers in late summer. Cut back before July to maintain best foliage color. Deciduous. Attractive to butterflies.

Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Drought tolerant plants, they are particularly adapted for use in rock gardens or in borders. Also tolerant of coastal conditions.
