Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus'

Maiden Grass

A nice, upright form with 3/4" wide green leaves that display dramatic horizontal golden bands all along their length. It is excellent in mass or as a structural specimen.

Prefers full sun and moist to wet, well-drained soil. Tolerant of clay soil. Drought tolerant once established. A warm season grass, it thrives in heat and humidity. Cut to within 4" or 5" of the ground in February before new growth begins.
