Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light'

Maiden Grass

Narrow, vertically variegated leaves are grayish-blue to blue-green and creamy white. Lovely. Long blooming and deer resistant.

Prefers light shade to sun and moist to wet, well-drained soil. Tolerant of clay soil. Drought tolerant once established. A warm season grass, it thrives in heat and humidity. Cut to within 4" or 5" of the ground in February before new growth begins.
