Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light'

Maiden Grass

Narrow, vertically variegated leaves are grayish-blue and creamy white. Lovely. Prefers light shade. Cut to within 4" or 5" of the ground in February before new growth begins. Long blooming and deer resistant.

Warm season grass that thrives in heat and humidity and is also tolerant of clay soil. Clump former that is well suited to mass plantings or the low maintenance garden.
