Semi-evergreen climber with blue-green leaves. Red buds open to scented pink flowers with golden throats. Blooms on both old and new wood. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Long blooming.

Prefers sun to light shade and humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils but will tolerate average soil and some drought, once established.
