Upright, vase-shaped mounds of blue-green foliage are topped with long, charcoal stems of lemon yellow flowers in late spring. The contrast between stem and bloom is very striking. A Proven Winner variety. Plant patented.

Prefers full sun and average to dry sites. Easily grown in low fertility soil, including clay.
