Aster x frikartii 'Monch'

Aster

2 1/2" blue daisy-like flowers. Erect, upright habit. Much prettier in the ground than in a container. Usually does not require staking. Make a nice cut flower and frequent cutting will produce fuller plants. Blooms from June to September. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant.

Prefers full sun to light shade and moist, rich soil, but tolerates some drought and coastal condtions. May develop powdery mildew if kept too dry.
